Reginald M. Newby

NEWBY Reginald M. Newby, age 45, of Bridgeport, died suddenly Monday, January 9, 2006, at home. Reginald had been a resident of this city for the past 40 years and was educated in the Bridgeport school system. He was employed in the construction industry and most recently with Worthy Home Repair, a home remodeling company. Survivors include five sons, Reginald, Dennis and Danny Lawson of Virginia, Dashawn and Reginald Lee of Bridgeport; two daughters, Teasha Womack of Virginia and Gina Lee of Bridgeport; a brother, David Newby of Bridgeport; four sisters, Frances and Callie Newby and Sandra Frazier, all of Bridgeport and Regina Wilson of Florida; five grandchildren; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held Friday (TODAY) 6 p.m. at Mortones Mortuary, 25 Margaret E. Morton Lane, Bridgeport, with Bishop Elect John R. Thompson, Pastor of Calvary Temple, officiating. Interment will take place at the convenience of the family. Friends are invited to the viewing from 5:30 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
