Richard Boone Obituary

BOONE Richard L. Boone, age 74 of Milford, passed away on Thursday, May 22, 2008 at Milford Hospital. He was born in Bridgeport, January 2, 1934. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Marilyn Parker Boone; his cherished daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Robert Shortt Jr.; and his beloved grandchild, Jennifer Lynn Shortt. He is also survived by two sisters, Miss Beverly Boone of Milford and Mrs. Caroline Mette of Florida in addition to nieces and grandnieces. Richard was employed by H. B. Communications of North Haven as an electronic technician before his retirement. The family would like to thank his doctors and nurses and staff of Milford Hospital for their care and support. Per his wishes there will be no services. Donations in his memory may be made to Masonicare Hospice, 680 Bridgeport Avenue, Shelton, CT 06484 or to Milford Hospital Foundation, 300 Seaside Avenue, Milford, CT 06460. Arrangements are in care of West Haven Funeral Home at the green.
