Wow. You used to fly me to school and home when I had no parents who would. You were kind to me. You would take me to a Cuban restaurant in NYC and you were always just nice. I happened to have googled your name just because we wonder where our old friends are, and I saw this. I wonder what happened to you. Thank you for being my friend so many years ago. When you met me I was in college. You looked at me and said, "it´s nice to see what colleges are producing these days - beautiful girls like you". I´m happily married with beautiful grown children now. I found My biological family. I´m Italian, like you. Rest big guy. See you one day soon.

I am in shock and disbelief to learn of Richie's passing. I have known Richie for over 35 years from our weight lifting days at the Fitness Forum. We saw Sinatra in New Haven in 1979. Richie was so upset that Frank didn't sing My Way. He kept yelling "My Way!" trying to get Sinatra to do an encore but Frank left the building. I bought a Chevy from him at Russell Chevrolet in the 90's. And our love of the Beatles! Always fun to be around! I can't believe you're gone! My thoughts & prayers to the Christiano family. God Bless you Rich, rest in peace my friend.

Our family has known Richie for over 30 years. He was a great guy who was liked by everyone. My brothers and I will always remember the years we spent together weightlifting, boxing, working out and spending days at the beach. My parents referred to Richie as their "other son." God speed Richie.

Richie, so sad to see you go. We'll miss you on our annual Elvis Marathons and how we crack up every time when Elvis jumps in the water and comes up with that perfectly combed hair... Or the times we'd bet on how many songs you can guess on the 50's station in a row, I cut you off on the free dinners because you would always get em right. I guess I'll never get to show you up on that speed bag I haven't been practicing on.
Rest easy my friend, well miss you at Viale.

Rich Rich Rich...My Elvis!! I can't and won't believe you are gone! When I heard the sad news my heart dropped! You were my favorite customer at my bar - you kept me company so many Sundays - you and I tanning wherever the sun was and of course you w/no shirt always showing off your body. We would dance to Elvis and you would sing to me - you reminded me of my once in a lifetime love SteveC he loved the music you sang and just always put a big smile on both of our faces. You will live on forever in my heart and never be forgotten. Give SC a kiss for me please!! Love you lots, your Gerri
