Mary, I never met you but I worked with Dick at the Travelers from 1968 to 1972. We managed to keep in touch by phone until around 2004 at which time I regretfully did not keep in touch with him. I always considered Dick to be an honest, passionate individual and am proud to have considered him a friend. I hope you and the family are healing from your loss.

Dear Mary and family: Shocked and saddened. Many good times, from lunchtime cards, softball, Jeffrey's first Red Sox game, bowling and so much more. A good friend and much too young. My deepest sympathy, I am so sorry.

The Hine family
I worked with Dick at Travelers from 2000 on. While we butted heads on baseball ( I am a Red Sox fan ) it was always with smiles on our faces. Never a harsh word about anyone , always willing to help out the new guy to the company.
I am so sorry to hear of his passing. May all the wonderful memories you have of your life with Dick carry you through this tough time. A big smile would cross his face when he told me stories of family and friends .
My prayers are with you.
