Richard T. Knopf
Richard T. Knopf, age 77, of Stratford, beloved husband of Zina Knopf, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2023 in Bridgeport Hospital with his loving family by his side. Richard was born on November 5, 1945 in Bridgeport and was the son of the late Edward and Dora Ward Knopf. He was a US Navy Veteran and was employed by Entenmann's Bakery as a delivery driver. Richard was an avid bowler, fisherman and enjoyed being in nature. In addition to his beloved wife, Zina, Richard is also survived by one son, Daniel Knopf and wife, Kimberly of Oakville, two stepsons, Pavel Vodov and wife, Kseniya of Montreal, Canada and Yevgeny Vodov and wife, Polina of Harvard, MA, four grandchildren, Karigan Knopf Twickler, Kaileigh Knopf, Sasha Vodov, and Solomia Vodov. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at 11:30 AM in the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main Street, Stratford. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Friends may call on Saturday, June 3, 2023 from 11:00 to 11:30 AM at the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home. To celebrate his life, please visit us at www.galellofuneralhome.com
