Always a good IBEW brother, a good friend and co-worker. He earned their respect. Although I only knew him for a short while, he left a lasting impression.

I was very sorry to hear of Richard's passing. We went way back together to the days of the Falcon gym class, track meets and working at the Summer camp. We worked through Bullard-Havens where he eventually taught, and then helping him locate downed oak trees for his work on the HMS Rose project. He never slowed down and was always looking for something new to tackle. I'll miss him. He was one of a kind. I extend my condolences to his wife Joann, brother Ken, sister Dorothy and the rest of the family.
