Rita Janco Marconi, age 90, of Trumbull, beloved wife of Robert Marconi, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 29, 2023, in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bridgeport on February 22, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Vincent A. and Helen Pavluvcik Janco. Rita was a quiet, caring and loving person. She enjoyed the simple things in life; cooking for and spending time with her family. She was happiest when her family was together, especially her grandchildren, creating memories to last a lifetime. The unconditional love she gave and the values she taught will forever live in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. In addition to her beloved husband of 65 years, Robert, survivors include her four loving sons, Thomas Aquinas Marconi, Gregory Augustine Marconi and his wife Virginia, Robert Bellarmine Marconi and his wife Cindy and James Peter Marconi and his wife Donna, four cherished grandchildren, Michael, Christopher, Alyssa and Amanda. The family would like to thank all of Rita's caregivers and the close family and friends who showed their love, support and care for them during Rita's time of need. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on August 4th, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. directly in St. Theresa's Church, 5301 Main St., Trumbull. Interment will be private, at the convenience of the family.
