Robert Dupree Obituary

DUPREE Mr. Robert George Dupree, age 75, loving husband of Agnes Stefanek Dupree of Milford, died on Sunday, February 19, 2006 at Connecticut Hospice. A son of the late Henry and Marie Baribault Dupree, he was born on October 2, 1930 in Bridgeport, and was a longtime resident of Milford. He was a U.S. Navy veteran during the Korean War. Before his retirement Mr. Dupree was an assistant grocery manager at Stop & Shop for 32 years. Besides his wife, he leaves three children Stephen J. Dupree, Kim Campanelli and her husband, Bud, Rob Dupree and his wife, Linda; six grandchildren, Desiree Parker and her husband, Sean, Justine Dupree, Kayleigh Campanelli, Zachary, Lydia and Miriam Dupree; a brother, Art Dupree of Stratford; a sister, Annette Dupree of Radcliff, Ky.; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service from the Cody-White Funeral Home 107 Broad St. On the Green, Milford, on Wednesday February 22 at 8:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary Church, Milford at 9:00 AM. Interment in St. Mary-s Cemetery, Milford. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p... In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to St. Jude Children-s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105-1942.

Agnes & Family, Please accept my family's deepest sympathies on the passing of your husband. I just found out about it, or I would have payed my respects in person. I have fond memories of him growing up and know his passing is a true loss. He was a gentle and funny man. May God Bless you all.
