Loss is hard especially when it is someone you love. Pain and sorrow
become ever present. Thankfully, comfort from family and fiends
is helpful. WE have been blessed by "knowing" Bob and sharing many
good times together. We are grateful for all his workings and the memories
we now hold dear. Our deepest sympathy is extended to Theresa and family.
WE shall always recall the differences he made in the lives of many. Yes,
a lasting legacy.

My Spanish professor at Fairfield U. I recently retired as a French teacher and sometimes Spanish teacher. Thankful for his instruction and encouragement and role-modeling. Prayers for comfort and blessing on your loss.

Bob and I have been friends for over 70 years, having met while in grade school in Cleveland, Ohio. From the onset, he was a one-of-a-kind guy. A brilliant mind who became an educated adult. One who crafted precise translations of old Spanish and Portuguese language novels into English. He is the author of several true to life novels. In high school, Bob and I worked part-time at a grocery store, where I met Irene, my recently deceased wife of 61 years. The three of us became lifelong friends. As with his wife, Theresa, we often talked about our good fortune in having loving, caring spouses. Bob was my best man, my loyal friend, a brother to me. Adios, old friend. Rest in God´s peace.
