Robert Huebner Obituary
Robert W. Huebner, age 92, of Fairfield, the loving husband of C. Patricia Daly Huebner, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 11, 2013. Mr. Huebner was the Director, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Southern New England Telephone Company prior to his retirement. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. directly at Our Lady of Assumption Church in Fairfield with interment to follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery with full Military Honors. Visitation is on Friday, August 16, 2013 from 3-7 p.m. at the Shaughnessey Banks Funeral Home, 50 Reef Road in Fairfield Center. A complete obituary will follow in Wednesday's edition. Bob was a wonderful community participant and did it with such grace. He served the Bridgeport community under many Mayors and was always available to help. Our deepest sympathy goes to his wife and his wonderful family.

My condolences go out to Bob's family. I will always remember the wisdom and knowledge I learned from Bob being his Executive Secretary at SNET. He was always a true gentleman and a great boss.
