I mourn the passing of a Prep '74 classmate. We were in several classes -- he was serious and funny, a rare combo. He chose a wise career path.

Played hooky with Bob and Tim Barrett in October 1973 to see the Mets play the Reds in the NL Championship series. He had to stand in line for hours to buy the tickets for the game and very graciously gave me one. Class act on his part. Had a magnificent time with him at that game and will be eternally grateful for his generosity. RIP Bob and thanks for that indelible memory.

Mary, Ann and family, too many great memories to count. one of the funniest was when Bob learned how to make scrambled eggs and the time Bob and I spent in Reading at Mary's house for a week. May you take comfort knowing he is at peace with Mom, Dad, and Kathy. My prayers are with you all.

Uncle Bobby, I always looked up to you. My mom would constantly tell me how much I reminded her of you as I was growing up. I’m grateful to have had you in my life and thank you for all of the great memories. You’re dearly missed to all that were lucky enough to know you. Dougman out!
