Robert Earl (Bob) Lasko, age 96, of Fairfield, loving husband of Josephine (Josie) Dobler Lasko, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 11, 2024. Born and raised in Fairfield, son of the late Julius and Elizabeth King Lasko. Bob had been a Fairfield Town resident for most of his life. He had been a WWII Veteran, serving in the United States Navy and later had worked for the Bullard Co. for over thirty years, and later for Fairfield University maintenance until his retirement. He is survived by his children, Bonnie Sandor, of Fairfield and Lori Krysiuk and her husband Michael of Stratford, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends too numerous to mention. In addition to Josie, his loving wife of 67 years, he was predeceased by his brother, Julius Lasko Jr., as well as all of Josie's siblings and their respective spouses on the Dobler side of the family. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4-6 p.m. in the Frank Polke & Son Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Rd., Fairfield. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m., directly at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 700 Old Stratfield Rd., Fairfield, followed by full Military Honors.
