Robert "Bob" Loch
Robert J. Loch, 80, of Milford, CT, beloved husband of Patricia Melbourne Loch, passed away peacefully in his home on Saturday, September 24, 2022. Born on March 12, 1942 in Bridgeport, CT he was the son of the late John Loch and Antoinette Kaczmarczyk Loch.
Bob graduated from Bullard Havens Technical School in 1960. He served in the Army Reserves and was trained as a wheeled vehicle mechanic. Bob worked as a union carpenter and was a member of Local 210. He worked for Nutmeg Interiors until his retirement. Bob was an avid UConn Women's Basketball fan, loved to garden and grew his own tomatoes. He also enjoyed entertaining his grandchildren with magic tricks and spending time with his bird, Billie.
He is the loving father of Karen (Michael) Lester of Tolland, CT, Donna (Gordon) White of Milford, CT and Jeffrey (Jessica) Loch of Port Royal, SC. Bob is also survived by his grandchildren Megan, Kelly, and Jack Lester, Amber, Cassidy, and Colin White, and Dillon and Shelby McBride. Additionally, he leaves behind his brother Joseph and his wife Diana Loch, a niece, and several nephews.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Saturday, October 1, 2022 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad Street, Milford, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. at St. Ann Church (St. Raphael Parish), 501 Naugatuck Avenue, Milford, CT. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The American Kidney Fund or a charity of your choice. Many years ago I worked with Bobby at Nutmeg Interiors. I always enjoyed being work partners with him. What a great guy! A gentleman with a wonderful personality; always fun to be around. Condolences to the family and godspeed to you, Bob. You deserve nothing but the best!

Pat and Family,
We are so sorry to hear about the loss of Bob. You all were a big part of my childhood and I will always cherish the memories. Although, we have lived in Ohio for a long time, it was always great to see you and Bob throughout the years at weddings, birthdays, etc. You all are in our thoughts and prayers.
