Robert Rowland Obituary

ROWLAND Mr. Robert Raymond Rowland, age 73, of Gardena, Calif. and formerly of Bridgeport and Easton, died Wednesday, December 7, 2005. Born February 18, 1932, in Bridgeport, he was the son of the late Harold and Beryl Rowland. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Bonnie Bereza. He is survived by one sister, Ruth Budnovitch of Bridgeport; two sons, Steven P. Rowland of Easton and David R, Rowland of Key Largo, Fla.; two daughters, Joan J. Rowland of Hollywood, Fla. and Tracy L. Gilbert of Tavernier, Fla.; and eleven grandchildren, Grace, John and Candace Gilbert, Sammantha, Katie and Andrew Rowland, David Jr., Spencer, Cameron, Brandon and Chandler Rowland; and his friend, Darlene Walden. Bob was a talented artist who worked in many mediums, served in the Air Force during the Korean War and was a graduate and teacher of Leon‚s Institute of Hair Design in Bridgeport. He was the owner of Odyssey Hair Design in Stamford and Odyssey design in Gardena. Services to be announced. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 1132, Fairfax, VA 22038-1132.
