Robert Zommer Obituary

Robert "Bobby" Zommer, age 73, of Stratford entered into eternal rest on Monday, December 22, 2021. He was born in Homestead Florida on January 2, 1948, son of Eleanor Hayes and Lou Zommer. Bobby grew up in Fairfield and attrened Andrew Ward High school, before moving to Stratford. He was a proud member of the US Marine Corps reserves. Bobby was a master carpenter for over 40 years, he was an avid prankster who loved to ride his motorcycle with his beloved friends. Bobby was predeceased by his mother, father, sister Pam and son Troy Zommer. He is survived by his son Todd Zommer and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held in the spring. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his name to the Wounded Warrior Project.

Bob was my master carpenter for over 30 years. He was beloved and trusted by me and all my friends who used him as well. And he became our friend. He will be missed by us all.
