Roberto Colon, age 81, of Bridgeport passed away into the eternal peaceful rest of the Lord on June 6, 2014 in St. Joseph's Manor, Trumbull, CT; Roberto was born in Guayanilla, Puerto Rico to the late Carmelo Colon and the late Carmen Colon although he had relocated to the Bridgeport area many years ago; He is the widower of the late Ellen Bryant; He is survived by his brother Ricardo and Heriberto Colon; His sister Nelsi Morales, Carmen Colon, Maria DelCarmen Colon, Magdalena Morales and Melba Colon; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who will dearly miss him. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, June 8, 2014 from 6-8 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz. (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT.
