I think of you everyday and the lost of your son. I only pray that Our God will give you the strenth that you will need to get through this. Our children are supposed to be around to watch us grow old. I never got the chance to meet your son Rheem but I have only heard good things about him. I know that there are no words that anyone can say but please know that I feel your pain. Your son Rheem wouldn't want you to be sad.. The good thing is that you have all his precious memories with you in your heart. Your beautiful son is looking down on you saying mommy please don't cry I am o.k. now. You have to be strong for you and Keya and the rest of your family for I know they feel your pain also. Thinking of you always.. For our children are to be with us until we depart this earth. If you ever need to talk you can email me. Rest in Peace Rheem!

To My Son Rheem,I can not express what I feel about you not being here. The pain is so unbearable and I cry so many tears. You are my first born, my first love and my only SON!! I don't have a clue how I'm going to make it through so many days without you here! You are unique, a loving son, nephew, brother, FATHER and grandson. You were always LOVED before you even came into this world. GOD loved you first and then he blessed our lives with you by allowing us 25 years of loving you!! Baby, I miss you and LOVE you so much!!! I need you Rheem, I need your smile, your hugs, your jokes, your kisses. I need to hear your voice calling me your BABY!!! I need to hear you call me MA!!! I need your phone calls 3 and 4 o' clock in the morning! OH!! GOD!! I MISS YOU!! I know that you're home with GOD and he is so lucky to have you. but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;

I am sorry to hear of Rodney's passing. I knew him briefly from work but my husband, who knew him well and others who have had the privilege of knowing him said he was a genuinely good person. He obviously was held in high regard as made evident by the many who came to pay their respects to him. Hopefully it is comforting to know he is in God's memory waiting to be brought back in better conditions, and that is the safest place for him.

My heart goes out to the family, and most of all for his precious son , I was able to get to know a little about. Rodney I'm truly hurt that for the short time I have known you that you had to leave so soon and unexpected. I cherished every moment you were in my life. The conversation, jokes, laughs and stories everyday knowing you was a blessing to me. You were the friend I looked forward to going to work for just to hear your thoughts and wisdom. Words can't explain how good of a friend you were to me, at the drop of a hat you were there for me and I am truely grateful. Although we did not know each other long, someone once said to me "its not how long you get to know someone, it's the quality of time you spend with that person or get to know them that truly matters". On this day that I found out this terrible tragic news I now know what they meant. I wish I had more time with you as a friend really. It's like I'm pouring my heart out to you as if you were right next to me. I guess these are the things I wish I had the chance to say to you. You will always be in my heart, mind, and soul. I will miss you.
