Ronald Mason Obituary
Ronald "Ronnie" Mason, 64, of Woodbury, CT passed away on January 18, 2023 with his wife and daughters by his side. Born in Bridgeport on November 24, 1958, he was raised in Trumbull where he met his wife, Jennifer. They raised their family in Newtown and then Woodbury, gaining two wonderful sons-in-law and four beautiful grandchildren along the way. Ronnie was a funny, caring soul that touched the lives of many. He loved taking on projects to help anyone he could.
He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Jennifer Muschett Mason; daughters, Christine (Jeff) Reichard and Stephanie (Quinn) Fontaine; his four grandchildren, Teagan, Mason, Logan, and Avery; his sister, Concetta Mason (Henry Ponter); sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, father-in-law and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Ron and Frances Mason and brothers Charles and Frank Mason.
Ron overcame unimaginable odds after his diagnosis in June 2022 with advanced lung cancer; he loved his family fiercely and enjoyed the life he had to the fullest.
A Celebration of Life will be held on February 18, 2023, at the Heritage Hotel in Southbury, CT from 10:30am to 1:30pm.

I was so shocked to see this terrible news...I knew Ron from 5th grade until my Twenties..The white corvette too.. Just a couple of years ago he reached out to see how I was doing. Condolences to his Family. I am truly sorry to you all .Just heartbreaking.

Jennifer, I just heard. My heart breaks for you and the family. Ronnie was a treasure...what a fun guy! But also caring, and dedicated to you and the girls (and of course, the rest of the family that I never met).
I will always have fond memories of neighborhood parties, where Ron and I got into mischief together...With you and Dana rolling your eyes!
I am sure that your daughters will take great care of you, but no one could replace Ron and his devotion to you. God bless you, Jennifer.

I met Ron once for five minutes while he was building a home for his daughter across the street. I have never seen anyone work harder or longer, and I have seldom met such a genuinely personable fellow. I never got to know him, and I miss him, so I am sure his family deserves more than every sympathy I can muster. If I can help in any way, please do not hesitate to contact me. My lot corners at your new driveway, and I am almost always home.
