Rose Fensore Obituary
Rose Marie Fensore, 79, wife of the late Ralph Fensore, died Saturday October 26, 2013 after a long illness. She was born on June 26, 1934 in Pennsylvania and at the age of seven relocated with her family to Bridgeport where she was a 1952 graduate of Harding High School. After starting a family she became a resident of Monroe in 1966. She is predeceased by her parents Carmine and Grace Cerra and brother John Cerra. Along with her husband Ralph, Rose Marie joins in heaven her two beloved sons John Fensore and Gary Fensore. Rose Marie was a musician and singer who loved music and entertaining. She was an accomplished and award winning accordion player. Rose Marie was a devoted Christian woman who touched many lives with her love of God and strong faith. She leaves behind her children Donna Penner (Kerry Penner), Dianna D'Alessandaro (Anthony D'Alessandro), Ralph Fensore, Jr. (Darleen Fensore) and Christina Fensore (Robert Davey). In addition she leaves two sisters, Dolores Blizman (Steven Blizman) and Joanne Ruby (William Ruby). She dearly loved her fourteen grandchildren: Stacey, David, Gary, Jason, Mikayla, Amy, Teresa, Tanya, Danielle, Alainah, Nicole, Ralph, George and Kendyl and was proud to say she had ten great grandchildren. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Tuesday, October 29, 2013 from 4pm to 8pm with a funeral service at 9:30am on October 30, 2013 at Spadaccino Funeral Home 315 Monroe Tpke., Monroe, CT. Burial will be immediately following at Gate of Heaven Cemetery 1056 Daniels Farm Rd.,Trumbull, CT. I want to extend my sincere condolences to the Fensore and Cerra families. It was many years ago that Rose Marie and her family were my neighbors on Sawyer Rd. In Fairfield, but I still picture her as a pretty young woman. I remember when she married the very handsome Ralph Fensore, and of course I remember the " Fensore kids". I want the " Fensore kids" as well as Dolores and Joanne to know that I am thinking about them and am very sorry for their loss.

Your parents both touched many lives through the prayer group at St. Jude's Church. I am personally grateful for all the prayers and encouragement they shared with me. To the Fensore family, your mom was like my second mom to me.. She fed me and prayed for me like I was her own. She gave me my first Bible. It was through the influence of your parents that brought me to my salvation. Words can not express my feelings for your parents and the time spent at the house growing up.
