Rose Ann Martin, age 46, of Shelton, entered into rest on April 5, 2022 at Griffin Hospital. She was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland on November 5, 1975, daughter of Damien and Eileen Lynn McCaffrey. Rose Ann moved from Ireland at the age of 2 and has been a Shelton resident for most of her life. She was a school bus driver for the City of Shelton for 26 years and a bartender at Cuppy's Cafe for many years. She enjoyed going to the beach, tanning, taking walks and making crafts, especially light boxes. Rose Ann was the beloved mother of Caitlin Matto and her husband C.J. and Roisin Martin and her fiancée Brandon Noonan; sister of Yvonne Hazlett and her husband Kevin, Ellen Lewis and her husband Orlando and Colleen McCaffrey. She was the loving grandmother of Genevieve and Maverick and was also survived by her companion Mike Ullrich and several aunts, uncles, cousins overseas and in Florida; and her dog, Bailey. Friends may call on Friday April 8, 2022 from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd., Shelton. On Saturday, friends are invited to her funeral service at the funeral home at 1:00 PM. The services will be live streamed for those who can not attend via the funeral home website.
