Rudolph Skowronski Obituary

SKOWRONSKI Rudolph J. Skowronski, age 58 of Trumbull, entered into rest on Sunday, january 17, 2010 at Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Bridgeport, July 4, 1951, he was the son of Elizabeth (Wondolowski) Skowronski and the late Edward S. Skowronski. Rudy graduated from Kolbe High School and Providence College and was an insurance underwirter before his illness. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Blair E. Rondeau of Washington; his brother, Frank Skowronski of Hawaii; sister, Joann S. Walsh of New York; two nieces, Francesca Skowronski and Brianna Walsh; nephew, David Walsh; and many cousins. He was predeceased by his father and wife, Lonie. Friends are invited to go Directly to St. Michael the Archangel Church on Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at 10 a.m. where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated followed by interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. The family wishes to express their deep gratitude to the staff of Bridgeport Hospital for their compassion in the care of Rudy (and his family) especially the nurses at ICU Unit, the 9th Floor. In abiding with the final wishes of Rudy, calling hours have been omitted. The Commerce Hill-Radozycki Funeral Home, 4798 Main Street, Bridgeport (on the Trumbull line) is in charge of arrangements.
