Where to begin? I first met Sandy as a (terrible) geometry student of " Ms Wiener's" in1966. She somehow saw the sad, troubled teen beneath the fragile facade and took me beneath her wing with unconditional love, wisdom, and guidance through those diffucult years and beyond. Never letting go even when I pushed her away. She was truly an Angel to me and the lifeline she threw saved my life. She is one of the warmest, funniest, empathic, most loving people I've been blessed to meet am eternally grateful for her unconditional love. My dearest Sandy, Praying you are the first soul I see when my time comes to cross over. Heartfelt sympathy to all who loved and feel the pain of your loss.

My parents, Ann & Richard Sussman, met Sandy at Trumbull EMS. My mother Ann, also a retired teacher, and Sandy become life-long friends. I remember Sandy as a truly warm and hysterically funny gal. My father's gravestone is engraved "Lights & Sirens Forever"....I hope the same for Sandy.....

Miss Wiener as we knew her was a wonderful Advanced Math teacher in 1979.
She had great energy and enthusiasm. So sad to hear the news.

I had Miss Wiener as a teacher at Stamford High School. She was an excellent instructor and a kind, nice lady!

I had Ms. Weiner for computers at Stamford High, she went a bit easy on me as long as I made her cookies! Needless to say I was not very good at computers. My condolences to all. RIP Ms. Weiner.

"Mrs. Weiner" was my Computer Science teacher at Stamford High School in the late 1970's. I really enjoyed her class and enjoyed seeing her at B'nai Torah. Please accept my condolences.
