Sanford Small Obituary
Sanford Small, age 84, of Easton, passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Bridgeport Hospital. Mr. Small was born in Fall River, MA, a son of the late Edward and Bertha Small, and was a proud U. S. Army Veteran. Mr. Small received his Bachelor's degree from Boston University, a Master's degree from the University of Bridgeport, and was a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Small is survived by his beloved wife, Roberta Stein Small, his devoted son, Larry Small and his wife Irene Zia of London, England, and his adored grandson, Alexander Small. He was also predeceased by his cherished brother, Martin Small. Funeral services will take place on Sunday November 5, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. from Congregation B'nai Israel, 2710 Park Avenue in Bridgeport, with interment following at B'nai Israel Cemetery on Kings Highway in Fairfield. Shiva will take place following services on Sunday at Homewood Suites, 6905 Main Street, Stratford, CT 06614, with Minyan at 5 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Congregation B'nai Israel.

Sandy will be missed by many, particularly those who attended the Torah Study sessions following Saturday services at B'Nai Israel, including me. I enjoyed his wit and inquisitive and probing questions. He was an example in erudition and shared his knowledge generously with me.
