Sara Fasulo Obituary

FASULO Sara A. Fasulo, age 81 of Fairfield, beloved wife of 57 years of Andrew J. Fasulo, passed away on Friday, January 20, 2006 at St. Vincent's Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport, she had been a Fairfield resident since 1956. Mrs. Fasulo was a member of the Women's Auxiliary of the National Association of Naval Veterans, Port 5, and was a former two-term member of the Fairfield RTM. She will be lovingly remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and as a wonderful cook. Survivors in addition to her husband, Andrew, include two daughters, Carol F. Brunner and her husband, Donald, of New Fairfield, and Nancy Brown and her husband, Jim, of Stratford; three grandchildren, Andrea Marie Lieberum, Cristina Joy Lieberum and Tyler Ann-Marie Barten; two sisters, including her twin, Mary Giannattosio of Bridgeport, and Rita Merlotti of Bridgeport; a brother, Joseph Calabrese of Trumbull; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Ann-Marie Lieberum. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2006 at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Church 700 Old Stratfield Road, Fairfield. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 372 Danbury Road, Wilton, CT 06897. Andrew and Family,

Sadie always greeted me and others with a smile and kind words. We enjoyed laughing together at the banquets we all used to attend together years ago.She had a great sense of humor. I will miss her.
