Shirley Raynor Obituary

RAYNOR Shirley M. Raynor, age 83, of Milford, beloved wife of the late Thomas G. Raynor, died on Sunday, October 26, 2003. Mrs. Raynor was born in Derby on July 5, 1920, to the late William and Gertrude Conway Davis, and was a Milford resident for 50 years. She was a member of the Milford Senior Center, the Milford Retired Professional Women Club, The 50+ Club of St. Ann's Church, the Milford Council of Catholic Women and a member of the Former St. Ann Ladies Guild. Mrs. Raynor is survived by three sons, Thomas J. Raynor and his wife Janet, of Milford, Michael L. Raynor, and his wife Kathy, of Stratford and John L. Raynor, and his wife Jo, of Louisville, Kentucky, a daughter , Ann Henry, and her husband Brendan, of Milford, ; two sisters, Claire Bennett and her husband, Harry, of Hamden and Virginia Doran and her husband, Richard, of New York; her grandchildren, Katie , Johnnie, and Patrick Raynor of Louisville, Kentucky, Laura and Tom Raynor of Milford, and William, Daniel, and Linda Henry , of Milford, and several nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by her 'club' and its surviving members, Mrs. Kay Noonan, Mrs. Alice Atkinson, Mrs. Ruth Topitzer, and Mrs. Angie Puskar , her dear friends for over 40 years. Mrs. Raynor was predeceased by a daughter, Linda M. Raynor; and by a son, William F. Raynor. Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. from the Gregory F. Doyle Funeral Home, 291 Bridgeport Avenue, Milford, and at 10:30 a.m. in St. Mary Church with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
