Susan Peck, 88, of Milford, beloved wife of the late Richard C. Peck, passed away on April 9, 2023. Born on August 18, 1934 in Cheboygan, MI, she was the daughter of the late Rev. Donald C. and Leone (Kessinger) Ellwood. Susan worked for the Milford Board of Education as an elementary school teacher at Pumpkin Delight and Mathewson Schools, and delighted in helping to shape the lives of her students. She and her husband were very active members of St. Peter's Episcopal Church, where Susan helped with the Altar Guild for more than fifty years. Susan volunteered for many other local organizations, including Milford Hospital Auxiliary, Red Cross and Connecticut Volunteer Services for the Blind. One of Susan's most cherished and enduring circle of friendship was her Bridge Group, who supported each other for decades. Susan is survived by her children, Caroline Medley, Laura (Greg Anderson) Peck, and Christopher Peck; her grandchildren, Cheryl (Jae Vick) Medley, Sarah Medley, Lily and Carter Anderson, Evan (Krystal Ramahlo) Peck, and Jared, Marissa, and Jordan Peck; siblings, Donald John (Betty) Ellwood, and Kathy (Alan) Miller; and her many nieces and nephews. Susan was predeceased by her son-in-law, Richard Medley. Friends and family may call from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 BROAD ST., MILFORD, CT. A Memorial Service will be celebrated on Friday, April 14, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Saint Peter's Episcopal Church 71 River Street, Milford, CT. Interment will be private.
