Theresa Mastri Obituary

Theresa Lucas Mastri
Theresa M. Lucas Mastri, age 68, beloved wife of Earl Mastri of Milford, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at Milford Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bridgeport on September 26, 1956, she was the daughter of the late Edward J. Lucas, Sr. and Pauline (Paulin) Lucas.
Theresa was employed at Bridgeport Hospital with over 49 years of dedicated service in different capacities and currently working in the Pathology Department. She enjoyed taking long walks with her dog Jax, day trips to the casino and the many vacations with Earl to Vegas. Theresa was a big fan, and collector, of the classic cartoon character Betty Boop. She was always changing the decorations around the house for every season and loved tending to the flowers in the front yard but her greatest joy came from spending time with her boys and Earl. She was a devoted wife and mother and will be missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her loving husband Earl of 44 years, survivors include her three cherished sons, Michael, Matthew and David Mastri, two brothers, Edward Lucas, Jr. and his wife Loretta and Robert Lucas and his wife Antoinette and many nieces and nephews as well as brothers-in-law, Louis Mastri and wife Donna of Texas, and John D Mastri and sister-in-law Claudette Fogarty of Danbury. She was predeceased by a brother, William Lucas and her in-laws, Madeline J. Mastri and Earl E. Mastri.
A Funeral Service will take place on Monday, July 21, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will follow in Kings Highway Cemetery, Milford. Friends may greet the family on Monday morning from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Norma Pfriem Cancer Center c/o Bridgeport Hospital, 267 Grant St. Bridgeport, CT 06610 or to Milford Animal Control, 664 East Broadway, Milford, CT 06460. My deepest condolences to all of you during this incredibly difficult time. My heart is absolutely broken. Theresa meant the world to me, and I feel so honored to have had her in my life for the past 25 years as both a client and a dear friend. The news of her passing came as a complete shock-just one short week ago, we were laughing and talking during her appointment, as we had so many times over the years.

Theresa was truly one of a kind-full of warmth, wit, and kindness. I always looked forward to our conversations; we shared countless laughs and heartfelt moments in my chair that I will treasure forever. She spoke with such pride and love about her boys-they were her heart and her greatest joy. And sweet Jax... she absolutely adored him. I know he will miss her just as deeply as we all will.
To Earl-my heart is with you. The love you and Theresa shared was something special and so deeply genuine. She loved you with her whole heart, and it was so clear in every word she spoke about you.
Theresa will never be forgotten. She was deeply loved, and she will be forever missed.

My heart is broken because I have to say goodbye to my beautiful and dear friend. We´ve shared so many memories in the past, especially when our children were young. I´ll never forget all the good times and the laughs we had. You always had such a kind spirit and generous heart. We lost touch for a while, but I thank God we reconnected. I will love and miss you forever.
God Bless Earl, Michael, Matthew, David, your brothers and their wives and all family members during such a difficult time. I can´t express just how sorry I am for your loss. Thank God, you have each other for support.
Terri, I know you´ll be watching over them and keeping them close. You were always loved by so many.
I can´t believe I´m saying this-Good bye, May You R.I.P. Terri XOXOXO
