Thomas A. Corbi
Thomas A. Corbi, age 77, loving husband of Carol Corbi, died Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at St. Vincent's Medical Center. He was a resident of Fairfield for 53 years. Tom was a veteran of the US Navy having served as a submariner on the USS Halfbeak. He was a former part owner of Waters TV and retired as a field engineer for NCR. Tom enjoyed golfing here and in Myrtle Beach, and worked as a ranger at the Par 3 Golf Course for the past five years. He was a life member of the Fayerweather Yacht Club and was a recipient of the St. Augustine Medal of Service from the Diocese of Bridgeport. In addition to Carol, his devoted wife of 59 years, he is survived by a son, Kevin T. Corbi and his wife Lori; daughters, Kayleen Caruso and her husband Joseph, and Kristen Miller and her husband Donald; a sister in law Barbara Clark and her husband David; grandchildren, Jacob and Olivia Miller, step grandsons, Alex, Joseph, Jr. and Ryan, and many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Lawncroft Cemetery in Fairfield. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Tom's memory to St. Ann's Church, 481 Brewster St., Bridgeport, CT, 06605. Arrangements are in the care of the Fairfield Funeral Home of Edmund W. Dougiello, 36 South Pine Creek Road.
