Thomas Cribbins Obituary
Thomas Cribbins, age 73, of Shelton, entered into rest on Friday, October 27, 2023, at Lord Chamberlain Rehab in Stratford. He is the beloved husband of 46 years of Grace (Conigliaro) Cribbins. Tom was born in Derby on August 20, 1950, son of the late Allan Joseph and Marquerite (O'Keefe) Cribbins, and was a lifelong Shelton resident.
He was the owner of Professional Tire in Shelton for 44 years, from 1979 to the present. Tom loved traveling to Las Vegas and the Bahamas and playing poker with his buddies every month. He enjoyed listening to Willie Nelson and watching Andy Griffith, and Tom loved his cats, Cooper, Dexter, and Nimmo.
He is the beloved father of Renee Cribbins Warner and her husband Mike, Steven P. Debish, and Edward J. Debish and his wife Barbara, and proud grandfather of Emma Warner, Ryan Debish, and Tyler Debish. Tom is also survived by two brothers, Allan Cribbins and David Cribbins, two sisters, Patricia Cribbins Grodski and Carol Cribbins Gamble, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother John Cribbins and sister Jane Cribbins Levinsky.
Friends may greet the family at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. On Friday his funeral service will begin at Riverview at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Shelton.
Memorial contributions can be made, in lieu of flowers, to the Shelton Animal Shelter, 11 Brewster Lane, Shelton, CT 06484.

Tommy was my daugher Allyson's godfather. I was his attorney for many years and he and Grace (Renee, Steven and Edward) were dear friends. We all traveled to the Bahamas a multitude of times in the 80s and some of my very best memories of my life include Tommy. We are devastated to learn of his passing. It's been many years since I have seen him, but I think of him always. May the ball always land on 11 for you in heaven Tom.
