I always felt welcome at the Nicholas home -- no matter what -- and I often would sit in private with Mr. Nick, who would invariably provide me some perspective on things in which I was too wrapped up in to see. He even told me stories about my own maternal grandfather I never knew, who used to pop into the store at Wood Avenue for a bowl of soup. Mr. & Mrs. Nicholas both treated me like a son. I'm grateful to them; I will always remember them.

Dear Tom, Paul, Susanne and Dolores,
I offer my sincere condolences in the passing of your beloved father and brother. My Dad was so proud of Tom's football scholarship to Brown...not too many Albanians went to Ivy League colleges back in the 40's. Take comfort that he now is re-born into eternal life.

To Tom's family. Sorry for your loss. Tom was my manager at G.M.A.C. many many years ago. He played football with my Uncle Jim at Harding. What a great guy.
