Timothy Burke Obituary
Timothy Michael Burke, age 29, of Waltham, MA, passed away on January 28, 2020. Tim was born in Bridgeport, CT and was the son of T. Michael and Andrea (Olsson) Burke. Timothy was a graduate of Fairfield Prep and the University of Connecticut. He was employed as the Director of IT at XebiaLabs. His interests included travelling, photography, ham radio and cars. Tim received the rank of Eagle Scout in 2009. In addition to his parents, he is survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and his beloved dog, Tobey. A Memorial Service will take place on Monday at 11:00 a.m. directly at the Trumbull Congregational Church, 3115 Reservoir Ave., Trumbull, with the Reverend Timothy Hare officiating. Interment in Nichols Village Cemetery. Friends may greet the family on Sunday from 3-7 p.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd., Trumbull, CT. I will always remember Tim as a great friend. I regret not having heard until after the service. I wish I could have been there, and could have been closer with him in life. I have many fond memories of him as a very kind person, who would gladly jump to help others. His politeness stemmed from a genuine caring for others. He was sometimes reserved, but was quietly very passionate. Some of my best memories are the times when you found the things that he cared about, and it revealed a deep knowledge and understanding - or a deep desire for justice and human improvement. He held both of these traits to an admirable degree and on a variety of subjects - and he will be greatly missed. My condolences to everyone who has lost the presence of this remarkable young man, and I am sure we are all better for having his touch upon our lives.

I had the privilege of working with Tim for two years. He seemed to love his work and was a great collaborator. His life has left a mark upon this world which shall not be forgotten. Farewell our friend, until we meet again.
