I knew Trina for three years. She was a wonderful friend, mother, and wife. I can't tell you how much she always made us all laugh. She could always bring a smile to everyone's face. To see her and Wade on their wedding day was an honor that I will always treasure. I miss her everyday.
Wade is a wonderful, caring man. He was Trina's rock. Now that he is in Texas, I miss him, Sami, and Kami. TLC's Baby Story was done so beautifully, that even those who know them were brought to tears.
Wade - know that I love you, Kami, and Sami. Trina is in my heart, as I know that she is in yours, always!

Wade - it is so nice to see an update for you, so glad you both are doing well. I wanted to tell you that yesterday I viewed for the first time Trina and your "A Baby Story" and I came into right at the delivery so I didn't see all the background they do at the beginning of the show. I was a little confused when she was talking about making it through... and then it clicked. I was soooo pulling for her to make it and be able to enjoy her life with you and this adorable baby she so bravely brought into the world. Imagine my eyes when I read the dedication to her. OMG I was bawling. I felt so compelled to find out everything about her story especially when it aired so I could find out how long she survived after the birth. I was saddened to learn that she passed barely 2 mths after Kami's arrival. My heart and prayers go out to you and I commend you and Trina for sharing your heartwarming story with all of us. She was an amazing women and she had that likability factor. I watched the show for 5 minutes and I liked her and I thought to myself I hope this airs again because I like to see their whole story. This was obviously before I realized how it ended. I'd still love to view the whole episode but wanted to let you know how much it has touched my heart and I know Trina is looking down on you and Kami and Sami too She is your guardian angel from above. BTW-just viewed the pics Kami is gorgeous!!! ENJOY HER!

God Bless you!

To Trina's family,
I was so moved by your story I saw on A Baby Story this afternoon.I was so moved by Trina's bravery during the most tyring of times. She had such courage in the face of adversity. When I saw at the end that she had passed,I cried as if she were apart of my own family..I cant imagine how you all must feel...My mother is going through the same thing(breast cancer) and I find it very difficult to deal with at times...But, after seeing Trinas story,I feel as if there is no reason for me to feel bad about anything...I will face my mothers cancer with the same tenacity and grace that Trina did...I will never be the same after today.May God continue to bless and keep you all..God Bless,Tara R. Dear Wade-

I was so moved by your Story that was aired again today, 2/6/07 on TLC and I felt compelled to write something to you. Everything about your experience was inspiring, touching and remarkable. Dear Wade and family,
Trina's beautiful spirit reached out to me through the television program, which I just viewed today. I want you to know that her love and determination inspire even strangers like me. My own mother died of breast cancer in 2001, and just today I was online signing up for the 3-day breast cancer research walk in August here in Minnesota. I will walk in my mother's memory but also in Trina's memory. Thank you.

Blessings,

I just saw the TLC Baby Story show about Trina, literally 6 minutes ago. I was so touched and encouraged by her spirit. I am going to medical school next fall, and I hope to become an OBGYN and specialize in exceptional mothers, like Trina. Thank you for sharing your incredible story.

God Bless.

Wade,
Hello. It's Tracy from the old Greenwhich/Stratford Days. It is ironic how I came across the story of your family and all that you and Trina endured. I lost a close friend just this past weekend - the burial was today and I was looking to get in contact with Evan. Couldn't find any info but got reminicent and I searched for some of the poeple I worked with on Greenwhich Ave then looked up Dawn, Kevin, you. Well in my already mournful state you can imagine how freely the tears came as I read the wonderful article written in the Olton newspaper on you, Trina and Kami and Sami. I just had to attempt to reach out to let you belatedly know how very sorry I am to hear of your loss. I'm sure Trina's legacy lives strong through Kami and I know that with faith and family we can get through anything. I wish you continued healing from the loss of Trina. The pictures are absolutely beautiful.

Dear Wade - Thank you for posting the photos of Trina and the girls. They're all beautiful! I can't believe how big Sami and Kami are! I've seen your story three times now on A Baby Story, each time it reminds me to be a better mother and to cherish each day. Praying for God's peace for you and your family, and I, too, believe you shall all be reunited in heaven someday.

Blessings,

I was so touched by the beautiful spirit of Trina and her amazing connection to both of her daughters. The love she had for them was so powerful and surely she is watching over them. My heart is with her family and her beautiful daughters who certainly did not have enough time with their mother. The TLC show is a beautiful legacy. God Bless you all.

I watched A Baby Story today and was very touched by the story. I cried to see that she passed away, and my heart broke to know her daughters would grow up without their mom, and that Wade would face the challenge of single parenthood. I encourage Sami and Kami to find women to build trust with so they can go to them with "girl troubles" and I encourage Wade to always, ALWAYS, tell Kami (and Sami)how great their mother was. Tell them now everything you can about their mom.

I'm so sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry that this happened. I watched the baby story today and cried the whole way thru it. I thought about how bad I was feeling not being able to concieve again b/c of PCOS and how it could be so much worse. She inspired me. I was heart broken at the end and the image of her holding her baby and smiling will forever be in my heart. I just am so sorry. Your family is in my prayers.

I just watched the story of Trina and her family on TLC's A Baby Story. This was the second time that I had seen this particular story and again, just like the first time was brought to tears. What a beautiful woman she was and what a beautiful family she had that stays here and waits for the day that they can meet the woman they love so dearly. God bless her family that she left behind.

I was brought to tears with the episode that was just on TLC. What a courageous and beautiful woman. And what precious children she has to carry on her legacy. May God continue to bless your family and may he also give you the strength to remember her life, smiles, laughter and memories that you made together. I never knew Ms. Trina personally. I just watched the episode of A Baby Story that she and her family shared with the world. I just want to say, that I am so touched by this story and saddened all at once. I am 28 years old and I am a new Mom. My husband and I were so taken by Ms. Trina's story. I know the smile on her face when she played with Sami and the smile of first sight of Kamryn......What I don't know is the strength that it must have taken to endure this task. I am sooo sorry for your lost, especially for the babies. but they will know their Mom's loving and caring heart, because I see it in Mr. Wade. So kind, so gentle, so full of love. I am sorry to write for so long, but I wish there were more that I can do then just express in words. Ms. Trina has shown me what life and love for your family really is. And though I can never tell her, I pray that she is the Angel that will deliver the conviction to my heart when I am not operating in that love. Again, Mr. Wade, I am so very sorry and God bless you and your beautiful girls. I too, will always remember the woman I never met, but also the one who has influenced my being a loving, kind, God-fearing mother and wife. Thank you for allowing me this opportunity.

My sincerest sympathy goes out to the Lesson-Nafzger families. Trina's story has touched me in ways I cannot express. Nobody is invincible to this horrible disease. Trina showed us all how to be thankful everyday for what we have. I hope that her beautiful daughters grow up knowing how amazing their mother was and how dedicated she was to them. Thank you Trina for touching our hearts.

Trina will be missed. I've watched her brave battle that was always faced with tenacity and optimism, always caring for those around her as much as for herself. The only blessing is that she will no longer suffer. Her children will be her legacy and she will not be forgotten. My thoughts are with Wade and I hope that the love he has for Trina will give him the strength that he needs.
