Valerie Pochron Obituary
Attorney Valerie Ann Pochron, age 45, passed away suddenly on September 9, 2023 in her residence in Marina Del Rey, CA. She was born on December 14, 1977 and was raised in Stratford. She attended The Unquowa School, Laurelton Hall, and the University of Michigan, where she competed as a Big 10 Diver, and Quinnipiac School of Law. As an Attorney she worked for Doctors' Associates, Subway, and Energizer as well as Henkel Corporation. Valerie enjoyed skiing, cycling, all outdoor activities, and traveling the world, but mostly cherished her various groups of friends. Valerie is survived by her father, Thomas Pochron and his significant other Anna Scala; one sister, Kimberly Allix and husband, James; and her aunt, Martha Puglisi and her husband, John. She was predeceased by her mother, Dianne Pochron. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mark Church, 500 Wigwam Lane, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main Street, Stratford from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, those who so desire, may please donate to Autoimmune Association,19176 Hall Road, Suite 130, Clinton Township, Michigan, 48038 or autoimmune.org. My condolences to the Pochron, family and my apologies for such a late message. I only learned of Valerie`s death today, December 21, 2023. While we were friends for just a short period of time, I found Valerie to be such a lovely, warm, and giving person. We were workout friends at Chelsea Piers in Stamford and we had the University of Michigan in common with each other. I was sorry to see her move to California, but, such is corporate life. It was a shock to read of her sudden death at such a young age. May you hold close to your heart that she was so well respected by her friends and colleagues. We will all miss her very much.

.My deepest condolences to Valerie's family and friends. I was just told about her passing and am so shocked. She was such fun to work with and be with. Her smile lit up any room. She will be sorely missed. My heart is broken.

I had a special place in my heart for Valerie and was devastated to hear of her passing. We worked together at Henkel and were neighbors in Stamford. I will never forget the time we rolled a luggage cart filled with backpacks for Stamford area students down the middle of the road together. RIP dear Valerie.

Wishing peace and comfort to the family at this difficult time. I had the opportunity to work with Valerie; she was smart, funny, and a great teacher! I'm so thankful for having had the chance to know her and no doubt will have good memories of her for years to come.
