Jacobsen, Wayne L.
Wayne L. Jacobsen, age 64 of Trumbull passed away Saturday, January 10, 2015 in St. Petersburg, Florida. Born in Bridgeport he was the son of the late Frederik and Shirley Cunningham Jacobsen. Wayne served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War and worked as a Civil Engineer at Spath-Bjorklund Associates for most of his engineering career. Wayne loved golf at Tashua Knolls and shoot billiards at the Frog Pond. He enjoyed biking, taking walks and photography. He will be remembered for his unique sense of humor and contagious smile. Survivors include his loving daughters, Lindsay Jacobsen of Trumbull, and Kimberly Jacobsen of Milford, sisters, Joy and Lynn and brother, Bruce. In addition to his parents his brother, Keith predeceased him. Friends may greet his family on Saturday, February 7, 2015 from 2-4pm in the Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull. Everyone is welcome for a Memorial Service beginning at 4pm in the funeral home.
