William "Billy" Hess, Jr.
William Hess Jr., loving father, devoted husband, and known to family and friends as "Billy" or "Bill", passed away on July 22, 2018 at the age of 52. A resident of Trumbull, Connecticut, Billy was a quintessential jack of all trades. He was our family "Jester", loved to fish, Elvis was his idol, and his father is his hero. Although he was a home improvement contractor by trade, he was a fixture at Joey's By the Shore at Compo Beach, Westport, CT, where he worked for more than three decades. With his ear-to-ear smile and helping hands, Billy touched the lives of everyone he met. He was everyone's ultimate volunteer, including his many years with the Trumbull High School Marching Band and Color Guard, always right alongside of his girls. More than anything else, being a father to his daughters, with constant love and support, is what made his life full. Billy is predeceased by his father, William G. Hess Sr., of Vineland, NJ, and survived by his mother, Susanne Tinker, of Stamford, CT. He will always be loved and remembered by his wife of 18 years, Gina (nee LoRusso); daughters Debbie, Cassie, and Maddie; siblings Debbie, Charles, Sam, Marcie, Denise, Kristina, and Stephanie; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and lifelong friends, "brothers," Joe Romeo and Adam Berrios. Family, friends, and others whose lives Billy touched are invited to Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd, Trumbull, between 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 26, 2018. A celebration of Billy's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 27, 2018, in the Word Alive Bible Church, 536 West Avenue, Norwalk.
