I worked with Bill at Potlatch in Greenwich,Ct. in Sales. He was a wonderful, kind, thoughtful man. He was my mentor when I first joined the company. We reconnected several years ago with letters. So sorry to hear of his passing. Dee Grape Karlen

I'm sorry to hear Bill is no longer with us. I'm glad to know that he lived a happy, healthy and long life with strong support from his loving family. I will miss exchanging Christmas cards which we have done for decades and getting the annual update on his adventures. He took me to my first college football game which of course was Purdue. His brother Bob and my mother Annette would always have a ball with him, Jeanie and Mable, dining at local Chicago steakhouses when he was able to come to town while I had the babysitting duties for Brian and Lynn. It was a simpler time, a good time. Bill was a good man and I along with many others will miss him. May he rest in peace.
