William Sheehy Obituary
William F. Sheehy, longtime resident of Shelton, passed unexpectedly on December 19, 2025. Bill was 74 years old.
Born in Bridgeport, CT, Bill was the son of William J. Sheehy and Margaret Fitzpatrick Sheehy, both deceased. He graduated from Bunnell High School and attended Sacred Heart University. He was a retired machinist from Sikorsky Aircraft with 34 years of service.
Bill was an avid Yankee fan and golfer, who coached in Shelton National baseball leagues, and was also an umpire for over 20 years throughout Fairfield and New Haven counties.
He is survived by his spouse of 49 years, Carol Mikolichick Sheehy, his sons Brian (Jennifer) and Michael, his grandsons Ryan, Dylan and Noah and his brothers, Robert and James. He was predeceased by his brother, John (Jack) Sheehy.
Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Monday, December 29, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Spadaccino & Leo P. Gallagher Community Funeral Home, 315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe, CT. Funeral Service will begin at 1 p.m. with interment to immediately follow at Huntington Lawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a memorial donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

My sincere condolences to the Sheehy family. Billy was a talented machinist and even more, a good friend. His contribution to reengineer/develop the Tail Rotor Mix Model Cell was instrumental in producing a state of the art manufacturing cell which went on to win a prestigious "President´s Award" for Sikorsky Aircraft! I also enjoyed his company while playing golf at various courses. RIP Billy

I worked with and knew Billy well at Sikorsky he was a good man! I´m very sorry to hear of his passing. My heart felt condolences to his wife and family may he RIP
