Xavier Foster Obituary

FOSTER Xavier Marquon Foster, age 10, entered into eternal rest on Monday, September 12, 2005 at Bridgeport Hospital. He was born in Chapel Hill, N.C., on March 1, 1995 to LaShawn Foster Gill. A student at High Horizons Magnet School, he excelled academically. He was proud of being chosen as Student of the Month and received last year‚s Perfect Attendance Award. He was a participant in the Cardinal Sheehan Center summer program and also took karate lessons there. He was an avid reader and helpful family member and neighbor. In addition to his mother, left to cherish his memory are: stepfather, Bernard Gill; father, Mitchell Lambert; brother, Bernard, Jr.; sisters, Saquaya and Gracecelyn Gill; grandparents, Clifton and Evelina Foster and Jackie Washington; and a host of other family and friends. He was predeceased by grandparents Benjamin and Barbara Gill. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 16, 2005 in Apostolic Mission Church, 474 East Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, with Elder Samuel Smith officiating. Friends may greet the family from 9 a.m. until time of service at the church. Interment immediately following service in Park Cemetery, 620 Lindley Street, Bridgeport. Arrangements entrusted to George J. Peterson Funeral Home, 1041 Noble Avenue, Bridgeport.

oww.. Xavier was one of the nicest people in High Horizons. He was very friendly to his fellow classmates and I think he deserves all of the love he can get. He will always be in our hearts no matter what. I will always have something for Xavier everytime i see him in the hallway I would say hi, and now that I dont, I really miss him so please everyone let him be in your heart forever
