When I was around 5 or 6 years old, I was one of her special needs students at Moorland Elementary in Carlisle Pa. Thanks partly to her and many other teachers, I was able to attend normal classes by the time I got to high school. Now I lead a normal life involving a good career, and homeownership. From what I remember, Connie was definitely one of the most patient and kindest teachers I ever had which is something she tried to pass onto her students. Eventhough it has been almost 40 years since she was my teacher, it's still sad to hear. Definitely not forgotten. Condolences to her family, friends and former colleagues.

Connie will be long remembered by her Trinity Oaks, friends and neighbors. She was a compassionate caregiver to her late husband, a caring friend to her neighbors, and a gift to all of us. We will miss her dearly. Condolences to the family.

I had the pleasure of working with Connie at Capital Area Intermediate Unit. She always alway spoke of her wonderful family!
