Daniel Oyler Obituary

Daniel Scot Oyler, 19, of Boiling Springs, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2009, at his home.

Born March 20, 1990, in Carlisle, he was a son of Thomas and Elizabeth Blosser Oyler of Boiling Springs.

Daniel was a 2008 graduate of Boiling Springs High School and was attending Penn State, Mont Alto campus. Daniel will always be remembered as a selfless, caring, loving person who was always there for friends, family and anyone in general.

Surviving in addition to his parents are his paternal grandparents, Fred D. and Maxine Hassler Oyler, of Carlisle; his maternal grandparents, Robert L. Sr. and Jane Swope Blosser, of Carlisle; one sister, Emily Oyler, of Boiling Springs; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by an uncle, Robert L. Blosser Jr.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., 219 N. Hanover Street, Carlisle, is in charge of the funeral arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Daniel's memory to the charity of one's choice.
