Earl Roger Prosser
June 3, 1948 - April 17, 2024
HANOVER - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, Earl Roger Prosser, who left us on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at the Shippensburg Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Shippensburg. He was 75 years old, born on June 3, 1948, in Hanover and was a son of the late Clair L. Prosser, Sr. and Doris V. (Heberlig) Prosser.
Earl graduated from Boiling Springs High School in 1967 and Shippensburg University in 1971 with a BA in Math. He held many jobs over the years including the Valley Pride Bakery, Hoffman Mills, University Lodge, the Embers restaurant, and Carlisle Tire and Rubber.
He is survived by one brother Clair L. (his wife Lynn) Prosser Jr. of Carlisle, two sisters, Audrey (her husband Bill) Beidel of Newville and Donna (her husband Scott) Hoaglund of Boiling Springs, and numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
Earl was a loving and caring brother who was always there for his siblings whenever they needed him. He had a great sense of humor and always knew how to put a smile on everyone's face. Earl loved fishing, NASCAR and the Yankees.
A memorial service will be held at Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St. Carlisle on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., with Dr. Fran Norton officiating.
