Our sympathy to Uncle Gordon's remaining family. I am sorry we did not see each other more often.

To live such a life to 98 is remarkable. Again accept our sympathy. I am Chloe Fox's youngest daughter.

Paps pew will never be the same without him. Pap has always been such an inspiration to our family, from way back at the "A" Street Church up until now. His warm hugs and precious smile will so sorely be missed, but I know he is with God and the family that went before him. He always thanked God for the Good Weather we were having, He is enjoying Paradise and perfect peace now! With fond memories and much love!

PS: Every time we hear a pen click, we will think of Pap!

Pap Lay, you will never be forgotten, I will always remember the feet washing service, it was such an honor to share that with you. I will remember it always. With Love Your Brother in the Lord.

Very few people live to be as energetic, jolly and vibrant in their old age as Bro. Gordon Lay. He has left behind a golden legacy for his family and friends. What a living example of a Christian for all of us to follow. Truly, he fulfilled the Scripture in Psalm 71:16-18, "I will go in the strength of the Lord God: I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only. O God, thou hast taught me from my youth: and hitherto have I declared thy wondrous works. Now also when I am old and grayheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation and thy power to every one that is to come." HIS LIFE TRULY EMANATED THAT STRENGTH AND POWER! Thank you Brother Lay.
