Joseph D. Dum, 52, recently of Harrisburg and formerly of Loysville, died Saturday, Jan. 13, 2007.
Joe was born on Nov. 14, 1954, to Thomas G. Dum Jr. of Elliottsburg and the late Nellie R. Reisinger Dum, who died March 12, 2006.
He was a supervisor at the S. Wilson Pollock Center in Mechanicsburg. He was also a barber and formerly the self-employed owner of Dum's Custom Stained Glass.
In his younger years, he was a member of Messiah Evangelical Lutheran Church in Elliottsburg and later the Centre Presbyterian Church in Loysville.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his two children, Javid D. Dum of York and Jarrah C. Perez of Elliottsburg; his former wife, Sherry Burnham of Elliottsburg; four siblings, Thomas G. Dum III of Elliottsburg, Joan L. Bower of Gardners, Alan E. Dum of Carlisle and Jake A. Dum of Rome, Pa.; plus many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 26, in the Messiah Evangelical Lutheran Church, Elliottsburg, with the Rev. Miriam L. Nicholson officiating. A visitation will be held 10 a.m. Friday until the time of services in the church. There will also be a fellowship following the service in the fellowship room at the church.

Arrangements are being handled by the Nickel Funeral Home, 3626 Shermans Valley Road, Loysville.
