Kenneth Samuel Baughman, 70, of Carlisle died Monday, April 7, 2014 at the Carlisle Regional Medical Center.
Born October 13, 1943 in Carlisle, a son of the late LeGrand and Jane Elizabeth Ames Baughman.
He was a graduate of Carlisle High School. He worked at Baughman Male Shop and Farmers Trust as a teller and retired from M&T Bank as a teller. Kenneth worked as a cashier for Karns in Hampden Township where he was known as the Sheriff. He was active in Fire Companies including Cumberland Good Will and South Middleton Fire Company where he was a lifetime member. And also a member of Mt. Zion Church where he was a lay speaker.
Surviving are his wife of twenty-five years, Denyce Baughman of Carlisle; three children, Elizabeth Boswell (and husband Mikal) of Boiling Springs, Alesha Baughman (and fiancé, Christopher Coleman) of Greencastle, and Michelle Baughman; and grandchildren, Rylie Coleman, Aleah Coleman, and a third grandson, Mason Samuel expected in June.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, April 11, 2014 at Good Shepherd Community United Methodist Church, 2135 Ritner Highway, Carlisle with Pastor Matthew Platts officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery at Churchtown, Boiling Springs. A viewing will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday at the church.
Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
