Marina J. (Geib)-Bolster, 53, of Carlisle, passed away Monday, Aug. 19, 2013 peacefully at home with her family and friends by her side.
Born in New Brunswick, New Jersey on Aug. 12, 1960 she was the daughter of Marlene Jacobi Geib and the late Joachim "Joe" Geib.
Marina worked as a Product Manager for Schmidt Company, MA and she also worked as an assistant teacher for the Calvary Lutheran Church Preschool. Marina was also the Family Support Group Leader for her husband's Special Forces unit, as part of the US Army. She was a member of the Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church, Mechanicsburg where she also served on the church council and volunteered for many of the church groups. She was also a volunteer for the sporting events at the Cumberland Valley High School.
In addition to her mother, Marlene Geib; Marina is survived by her husband, Col. (Ret) Kent Bolster; and children, Jessica, Karina, Zachary; her siblings, Michael J. Geib (and wife, Regina), of Germany and Michelle J. Geib of Stoughton, MA.
A celebration of Marina's life will be held at 12:30 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 24, at the Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church, 208 Woods Drive, Mechanicsburg with Rev. Luke Zimmerman officiating.
Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice, 1200 Walnut Bottom Road, Carlisle, PA 17013 and Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church, 208 Woods Drive, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050.
