Mark Kruger Obituary

Mark R. Kruger

Mark R. Kruger, 62, of Carlisle, died on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at West Shore Hospital, Mechanicsburg. He was born on January 5, 1954 in Carlisle, and was the son of the late Richard S. and Marion E. (Barley) Kruger.

Mark was a Carlisle High School graduate with the Class of 1972 and earned an Associate degree from Williamsport Area Community College in diesel mechanics. He owned and operated the former Kruger's Rental Service in Carlisle from 1977 to 2014. Mark grew up as a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Carlisle. He was avid NASCAR fan and was a member of the former Goodwill Fire Company, Carlisle.

He is survived by one sister, Barbara L. Kruger of Carlisle, one uncle, Charles H. Kruger of Carlisle, his friends and caregivers; Scott and Nicholas Musselman and numerous cousins.

A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, October 17, 2016 in the Westminster Memorial Gardens, 1159 Newville Road, Carlisle. Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle, is in charge of the arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Project Share, 5 N Orange, St # 4, Carlisle, PA 17013.
