Michael R. Paquette, 50, of Carlisle, passed away Sunday, June 3, 2007, at his home.
He was born on Monday, March 18, 1957, in Utica, N.Y., and was a son of Mary E. (Ager) Paquette of Brookfield, N.Y., and the late Joseph R. Paquette.
Mike was a 1975 graduate of Brookfield Central School and served in the U.S. Navy.
He had been employed for more than 20 years with the Mechanicsburg Naval Supply Depot, where he was an engineering superintendent.
He was a member of the American Legion, enjoyed motorcycles, NASCAR and the New York Giants. Mike was of the Catholic faith.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Paquette.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son, Robert Paquette of Carlisle; his daughter, Jennifer Paquette of Beaverton, Ore.; two brothers, Thomas Paquette of San Marcos, Calif., and Mark Paquette of Brookfield; two sisters, Tricia O'Steen of New York Mills, N.Y., and Corinne Stevens of Brookfield; two grandchildren, Jasella Holyfield and Anthony Paquette; and several nieces and nephews.
Services and burial will be private.
Ewing Brothers Funeral Home in Carlisle, is in charge of the arrangements.
