CARLISLE - Nancy Ann Matthews, 88, of Carlisle, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at UPMC Carlisle. She was born on December 7, 1936, in Carlisle to the late Robert Nickel and Eleanor (Smith) Nickel.
Nancy was a graduate of Carlisle High School. She is survived by one son, David Gulker, of Gahanna, Ohio; one daughter, Mary Purdy, of Portsmouth, Ohio; one sister, Mary Jacolyn Funk of Palm City, Fla.; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and two nieces.
