Paul Failor Obituary

Paul L. Failor, 81, of Carlisle, passed away on Sunday, March

17, 2024, at Clairmont Nursing home. He was born on July 6,

1942, in Carlisle and was the son of the late Paul G. Grimes

and Harriet A. (Failor) North.

He attended Big Spring High School and retired from Carlisle

Tire & Wheel Company. Paul enjoyed socializing as a

member of the Aerie 1299 FOE, American Legion 101, VFW

Post 6070 and Minnequa 375. In his younger years, he

enjoyed bowling, golf and shooting pool.

He is survived by one son, Paul D. Failor and his wife

Danielle of Raleigh NC, two daughters, Robin L. Gipe and

her husband Bud Gipe of Carlisle and Kimberly A. Bucolo of

West Lawn, 14 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 2

step-great-grandchildren, 2 sisters, Janet (North) Hoover,

Linda (North) Shughart and one brother, Lester North.

Paul was preceded in death by one son Mickel T. Failor, one

brother, Stanley North and one sister, Esther (North) Lay.

Pap I love and miss you so much ! I wish I could have spent more time with you. You'll never know how much you meant to me. As a child I idolized you, you couldn't get me to take off my cowboy boots for anything because I wanted to be just like you. I'll miss you forever and I'll see you again I know you're looking down watching over all of us. I love you pap !
