Raymond G. Martin, 69, of Loysville passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2012, at ManorCare, Carlisle.
Ray was born Oct. 5, 1942, at Hibbetts, Ohio to the late Wayne Burton Martin and Georgia M. (Eick) Martin.
He was retired from Cresline Plastic Pipe, Inc, Mechanicsburg and also had been employed at Dreysil Industries in Ohio.
Surviving are his daughter, Deborah Chestnut (and her husband, Corey), Carlisle; two sisters, Loretta Dively of Bolivar, Ohio and Linda Smith of Carrollton, Ohio; two granddaughters, Khyla and Harriette; and close friends, Roger and Denise Wilson and children, Brittany Brownawell and Tyler Wilson.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Deborah Martin.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 29, at Nickel Funeral Home, P.O. Box 910, 3626 Shermans Valley Road, Loysville, PA 17047, with the Rev. Trevor A. Lightner officiating. Viewing will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, June 28, and 10-11 a.m. Friday, June 29, at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Restland Cemetery, Loysville.
Memorial contributions may be made to Denise E. Wilson, 2528 Shermans Valley Road, Elliottsburg, PA 17024 to assist with the tombstone expenses.
